Today we offered our Nanotechnology Workshop at the Math and Science College Preparatory (MSCP) High School in Los Angeles. About 25 students attended and had hands-on learning experience with demonstrations. They also learned about how Nanotechnology can be applied to medicine and everyday life. The addition of nanotechnology curriculum can enrich students’ education and spark interest in pursuing STEM careers and jobs.

Here is what some of the students had to say:

“I liked the testing portion where we got to see nanotechnology working with the super-hydrophobic pallets. I also liked the example videos that were shown because it gave me visuals as to how nanotechnology works.”

“One of my favorite things about the workshop was the discussion on how nanotechnology might be a way to fight off cancer. Also, the example of how the hydrophobic works, was really entertaining.”
