First Foundation hosted an informative seminar to educate interested attendees on family philanthropy, foundations, and donor advised funds at the Tuck Room in Westwood, CA.

Today’s seminar focused on issues related to involving the next generation in the family foundation, which might have been created by parents or grandparents based on their mission, vision, and values. The speakers presented a case and provided valuable insights related to engaging future generations and issues of governance, structure and process, including compensation.

Thank you so much to Pamela Cohen (First Foundation) and Leah Bishop (Loeb & Loeb) for sharing their profound knowledge in the matter of family foundations and donor advised funds. Thank you Michelle Nguyen (First Foundation) for moderating.

We look forward to the next seminar!

The post Insights on Next Generation Philanthropy from the Pros first appeared on Omni Nano.
