STEMStarts Now for 1000 Students
We participated in the STEMStarts Festival, exhibiting nanotechnology alongside other STEM projects about the oceans, solar cells, and even going to Jupiter. A whopping 1000 students came by over the course of the 2-day event at West LA college in Culver City, CA.
In our booth, we taught students about super-hydrophobic surfaces and nanocoatings. Everyone loved playing with the UltraEverDry tiles and magic sand we had at our booth. We even brought in nasturtium leaves to demonstrate how the coating was made by studying nature. These leaves are naturally super-hydrophobic!
