Finally, a Curriculum to Learn Nanotechnology!
Omni Nano is successfully challenging the “status quo” of boring science classes with a new, engaging, and high quality STEM curriculum, specifically designed for high school and community college students to learn nanotechnology.
We believe with this curriculum we can inspire an entire generation of students to become scientists, engineers, inventors, and entrepreneurs of technology for the greater good of our communities and America overall.
This entire innovative curriculum is the only one of its kind and has been conveniently made in electronic format for ease of use.
Our nanotechnology curriculum can be used by any science teacher to offer a a two-semester advanced/honor science course in high school or for a one-semester/quarter general education science course in college.
The coursework for semester is conveniently organized into eight Units. Each Unit contains about two weeks of course work (thus 16 weeks of class work).
For a high school course, each unit is fully aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (as a drop down menu):
Each Unit is divided in a number of learning Modules, “mini” lectures focused on a specific topic. Students typically take about 10-15 minutes to go through the content of each Module.
Right after learning the content of a Module, students can take an assignment and test their knowledge. Questions in the assignment require critical thinking and comprehensive understanding of the material so far covered.
