Illuminating the STEM Future: Writing Patterns With Light

STEM teachers get hands on experience at CNSI workshop on Writing Patterns with Light

This past weekend, about 20 teachers from the Los Angeles Area learned about “Writing Patterns with Light,” a hands-on and interactive workshop as a part of the UCLA/CNSI High School Nanoscience Program at the California NanoSystems Insitute at UCLA in Los Angeles. Teachers were taught and trained to use light to generate patterns. As usual with these workshops, each teacher received the materials and supplies to perform the activity in their classroom, to help enrich their students’ knowledge and expand their science interest.
